Major Gifts, Planned Giving and Bequests

There are many different ways to donate and you can choose what fund or project you would like to support.

Most Concordia Foundation supporters give gifts of cash. It’s as easy as writing a cheque or using your credit card. It’s safe and secure. Your charitable tax receipt is issued for the full amount of your donation. We accept monthly or pledge donations, as well, making it an affordable manner for you to donate.

You may call us directly with your credit card information and we will promptly send you a tax receipt. However, for your convenience, the Foundation uses a secure third-party website called CanadaHelps.org to process our online donations. Simply click the image below, and you will be directed to a secure form where you can fill out your credit card information. A receipt will be generated for you by CanadaHelps.org

Estate Gifts or Planned Gifts

A planned gift lets you take care of your family while ensuring a gift to the Hospital. The decision about your gift can be made now, but the transfer usually happens in the future.

Wills

A charitable bequest through your estate is a satisfying way of providing a gift in the future, while retaining full control of your property. A bequest can also be used to reduce the taxes that may be owed by your Estate. You can specify an amount of money, personal property, or a portion of the residue of your estate.

Life Insurance

Concordia Foundation can either be named the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or ownership of a policy may be transferred to Concordia Foundation. Premiums paid for the policy may be eligible for tax credits.
