Below, is a list of frequently asked questions, and their corresponding answers. If your question is not included below, feel free to contact us at the Concordia Foundation’s office – we are privileged to assist you in any way we can.[hr]
Tax dollars only pay for the basics of health care. As medical research progresses and our expertise grows, the cost of specialized health services increases beyond the basics. That’s why your donations are so important. They fill the gap between government funding and the greater needs of the hospital. They buy vital equipment, renovate out-of-date hospital units, and support programs and services. Simply, your donations give our doctors and nurses the tools they need to provide the best possible care to every patient at Concordia.[hr]
Yes, the Concordia Foundation is a registered charity and is authorized by the Canada Revenue Agency to issue official receipts for income tax purposes. Receipts are immediately issued for all cash gifts, gifts of securities, gifts of life insurance and some in-kind donations. We will provide a tax receipt to your estate for gifts in your will. Please give us a call at +1 (204) 661 7156 for more information.[hr]
Your donation funds equipment, revitalizes a family room on a unit, and supports programs and services for our patients. The Foundation works closely with hospital staff to ensure all funds raised are used wisely, serve the greatest need, and most of all, serve our patients well.[hr]

Many people choose to give throughout the year and we welcome donations at Christmas and memorial donations when a loved one has passed away where we can help commemorate a life. [hr]
