The Concordia Foundation’s 35th Annual Gala was held April 20, 2018 at the Club Regent Event Centre with 400 supporters, friends and guests attending.

We raised over $50,000 for the Comfort Care Program at Concordia Hospital and welcomed the family members of Juliette Bousquet, who passed away in March 2017 in our first Comfort Care Room. The family set up “The Juliette Fund” that will enable the hospital to add calm, serene spaces that provide privacy and dignity for Concordia patients and residents nearing the end of their lives.

We can’t thank the people who helped make this possible enough.  Marcy Markusa, CBC Information Radio Host served as our EMCEE and entertained us, inspired us and made sure the program was on time.

Superphonic and Prodigy from MilesMac music department with Zane Zallis and Garth Rempel were simply amazing with their talent, spirit and helped us through a tearful presentation when they performed “Memories of You” which was a specially composed song they developed for Comfort Care.

Our speakers, presenters and volunteers made the evening outstanding and memorable.

Thank You Sponsors and Patrons
