As a charitable organization, the Concordia Foundation is dedicated to preserving the high quality of health and wellness services provided by Concordia (Concordia Hospital, Concordia Place, Concordia Hip & Knee Institute, Concordia Wellness Projects and Concordia Village). Concordia Foundation connects health and housing needs to community resources by building awareness, generating commitment, and inviting financial contributions.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors devotes its time to review the organization’s goals and resources. Through the generous support of individuals and corporations, we’re able to continue our ongoing efforts to build a better future for you, your family, and your community.

  • Completion of Concordia Place

    In spring of 1998, the Manitoba Government invited Concordia Hospital to build a personal care home next to the hospital. The hospital accepted the invitation, and through the coordinated efforts of the Concordia Foundation, generous sponsors, and many donations, on May 10th, 2000, Concordia Place opened as a long-term care facility with 140 beds.[hr]
