We are licensed and funded through Manitoba's child care system

Welcome to Concordia Child Care Centre

Our “Play to Learn” Place!

Welcome to Concordia Child Care Centre! We are pleased to provide a warm, caring, and engaging environment where children can play, learn, explore, and grow.

Concordia Child Care Centre is a non-profit, partial government-funded, licensed child care centre owned and operated by the Concordia Foundation. Our centre was established in September 2009 to provide child care for families connected to the Concordia Campus.

We are licensed to provide care for:

· 8 infants, between 3 and 24 months of age

· 16 preschool children, between 2 and 6 years of age

Our primary focus is supporting the child care needs of employees working within the Concordia Campus community. When space is available, we also welcome families from the broader community.

A Parent-Involved Community

Parents and guardians are an important part of our child care community. All parents and guardians are members of the Parent Advisory Council, which provides an opportunity to share ideas, offer feedback, and participate in the ongoing development of the Centre.

The Parent Advisory Council elects 7–9 parent representatives to serve on the Parent Advisory Executive.

A governance board will be established later in 2026 with representatives from the Concordia Foundation and the PAE. The Executive Director of the Concordia Foundation and the Director of Concordia Child Care Centre also participate in the Centre’s governance and oversight.

We believe that strong partnerships between families, educators, and the Centre help create the best possible experience for children.
