The 2025-2026 Board of Directors of the Concordia Foundation was confirmed at the Annual General Meeting held in Winnipeg on November 20, 2025.

Gerry Harms
President and Chair of the Board
Gerry Harms, CIM, has been a director on the Concordia Foundation board since 2020 and served on the Golf Committee for 14 years. He has worked on special projects in the construction industry since 1996 and is currently the Manager of Special Projects at Winnipeg Building and Decorating.
Bernie Regehr
Vice President
Bernie Regehr has been with Concordia for over 10 years, having served on the Concordia Hospital Board and the foundation board. Bernie recently retired from Woodland Supply & Mfg. after many years at the helm of sales and marketing.
Judd Ekdahl
Treasurer
Judd Ekdahl has been a friend of the Concordia Foundation since 2012 in various capacities and was the Treasurer of the board of Operation Walk (Manitoba). He owns Prairie Medical Products and is a regional representative for Johnson & Johnson as a medical device specialist.
Connie D. Froese,
Co-Chair Finance Committee
Connie Froese B.A.CPA is the CFO of Jacobson & Greiner Group of Companies with a B.A. Business Administration and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Manitoba.

Dr. Eric Bohm
Director
Dr. Eric Bohm, B.Eng MD MSc FRCSC, is an orthopaedic surgeon at Concordia with undergraduate mechanical engineering and medicine degrees from McMaster University. He is also a professor of surgery at the University of Manitoba, specializing in primary and revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
Ernie Goetz
Director
Ernie Goetz has been a permanent fixture at Concordia for nearly 20 years, having served as assistant director of facility management at Bethania and Concordia Hospital. He is the Director of Environment Services for Concordia Wellness Projects Inc (Concordia Village), managing the entire campus of five buildings.
Ron Koslowsky
Director
Ron Koslowsky recently retired as Divisional Vice President at Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ron served in senior HR roles with Palliser Furniture and is an esteemed leader and advocate of Manitoba’s manufacturing sector.
Carrie Fruehm
Director
Carrie Fruehm, MBA, is the President and COO of Concordia Hospital and a member of the Concordia Foundation Board. She has a lifelong connection to Concordia Hospital. This calling has shaped her career and ultimately brought her back to Concordia as President and Chief Operating Officer in 2023.
Rachel Bartel
Director
Rachel Bartel B.Sc, is a student at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), currently pursuing a degree in medical school. In addition to her studies, she works at the Orthopedic Innovation Centre (OIC) at the Hip and Knee Institute, gaining valuable experience in the field. Rachel is also a member of the Operation Walk Team and participated in their mission in 2024, providing essential care to patients in need of joint replacement surgeries.
Andy Zhao
Director
Andy Zhao is an integral part of the Kothari Group of Companies, serving as the General Manager of the Hotel Division. For the past 12 years, he has been the General Manager at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Winnipeg Airport.
Rod Harder
Director
Rod is the chair of the Board for Concordia Hospital. He holds the CPA designation and has completed the International Corporate Director Program (ICD.D) reflecting his commitment to leadership and governance.
Anupam Kothari
Committee Chair
Anupam Kothari B.Sc, MBA President of Kothari Group, a diversified company founded in 1996. Anupam is the Chair of the Concordia Arthroplasty Research Chair Committee and is a volunteer board member on a number of charities and health charities. He has been with Concordia since 2018

Our Accountability
Our auditors are Gislason Targownik Peters (GTP) Chartered Professional Accountants who provide us with advice and audit services for The Concordia Foundation and Concordia Child Care Centre. Our auditors were appointed to April 2026.
